In our home Cecile Brunswick’s bold, abstract art is more than just a “finishing touch”. Her imagination and use of color has made her paintings the eye catching center of several rooms. What first prompted us to purchase Cecile’s paintings is what causes us to treasure them now - they add joy to our lives on a daily basis.

housetipsterCecile Brunswick's work never ceases to amaze us. Even if at first glance, you struggle putting the pieces together, to observe it as a single art piece - the whole - delivers

emotion, movement, and the interaction of the components as if in a dance. We love you, Cecile!

                                                                                                                                                         .

"  Cecile:  the work I see on your Face Book page has great color, vibrancy and intensity...."                                                                    JERRY SALTZ,  Senior Art Critic for NEW YORK MAGAZINE.

Currently on view at the Weill Cornell Medical Center at 12 West 72nd St. in NYC is an exhibit of my colorful mid-size abstractions on view to the end of June 2016.

NEWS!!

NEW !  Shimmering colored reproduction of any painting, any size available on an archival lightweight SILVER panel!  Unbeatably low prices!  Just E-Mail me the size and name of work you want to get your quote.

Abstract images are my interpretation of the world I see.  Whether it be New York construction sites surrounded by walls affixed with torn, weather-beaten posters, or scenes in Morocco, Spain, Mexico,  or more recently, Turkey, I select the colors, shapes and lines which reflect my emotional reaction to the architecture, music and people I meet.
